Multiplayer Features

• Free Edition: Without purchasing the full game, Grimesoft infrastructure is unavailable, but you can still directly connect to game servers by web URL if they're configured to accept unauthenticated clients. You can set up your own servers, but without the server browser's capabilities, you may need to deal with port forwarding.
• Gold Edition: Having the full game means you can use the Grimesoft infrastructure, which makes it easy to host servers without worrying about port forwarding, join games listed in the server browser conveniently, and view the user profile info of Steam and itch.io users who are also logged in.
• If something isn't working well, please let us know so it can be diagnosed.

Running Dedicated Servers

The IsoMetro dedicated server is packaged as a Docker image.
